Maywood Park lacks rural and buildable lands. The entire City is developed upon the following uses: single family, multiple family, commercial and public. (Refer to the Existing Land Use Map on page 4.) Because the City is urbanized and does not plan to annex any urbanizable lands in the future, the Urbanization Goal does not apply to the City of Maywood Park. Though this goal does not apply, the City's policy is presently not to pursue further annexation. This policy will be periodically reviewed.
