“Chicken” means the common domestic fowl (species: Gallus gallus domesticus).

Code Enforcement Officer. The code enforcement officer shall be named by the city council of the city of Maywood Park.

“Coop” means a small enclosure for housing chickens.

“Rear yard” means a space extending the full width of the lot or parcel between the primary residence building and the rear lot or parcel line.

“Run” means an enclosed area where chickens may feed or exercise.

“Single-family dwelling” means a detached building on a single lot or parcel designed for occupancy by one family. [Ord. 2012-1, 2012.]
