A. The purpose of this section is to provide the city of Maywood Park with clean streets and curbs.

B. Any items deemed “Free” or “For Sale” placed on curbs, easements, or ends of a driveway, shall be in such areas no longer than a 24-hour period. Any items remaining after a 24-hour period must be removed by the owner/renter and disposed of.

C. Landscaping materials including but not limited to mulch, bark, rocks, gravel, brick, etc., must be cleared from the street, curb, or easement within seven days of receipt.

D. If such items described in subsection B of this section are not removed by the owner/renter, the city of Maywood Park may remove items after a period of 48 hours, at the expense of the owner/renter. A minimum fee of $175.00 will be assessed, with a maximum fee of $325.00. If such items described in subsection C of this section are not removed, a fine of $65.00 per day will be assessed and due within 30 days.
