The purpose of this chapter is to implement the map designations of the comprehensive plan. The zones are for areas of the city designated by the comprehensive plan for commercial uses. Two sites are designated residential commercial and one site is designated mixed commercial/residential. The zones encourage commercial uses that are supportive of surrounding residential areas. Limits on the intensity of uses and the development standards promote the desired character for the commercial area. The development standards are designed to allow a large degree of development flexibility within parameters which support the intent of the commercial zone. [Ord. 9G, 2019.]
