A. Purpose. Title 2 of Metro’s Urban Growth Management Functional Plan (Functional Plan) requires that parking ratios not exceed those listed in the Functional Plan’s “Regional Parking Ratios Table” (Functional Plan at page 43). The city of Maywood Park presently has no parking standards, thus the city needs to establish parking standards to comply with Functional Plan requirements.

B. Description. Parking shall be provided as shown in the table below when a new structure is built. Property owners may supply less parking than the minimum with the approval of the city of Maywood Park, but may not provide more than the maximum. The table includes those uses which could conceivably occur on the two commercial parcels in the city of Maywood Park as well as standards for new residential uses.
