It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or allow to be kept within the city of Maywood Park any farm animals, such as sheep, cattle, goats, horses, ducks, geese, chickens, roosters or other poultry, swine (including pot-bellied pigs), or similar animals. It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or allow to be kept within the city any naturally wild animals, including boa constrictors, poisonous snakes, or other poisonous reptiles. Fish, birds (other than poultry), and nonpoisonous reptiles are excepted from this provision. Dogs and cats are allowed subject to the permitting and other requirements of this chapter and the code.
